Wedding Gallery - part three

This is the last gallery and also around the same time that my camera's memory card started flashing to say that it was full.

More pictures taken on the down low :D

The white and sparkly room?

This is absolutely stunning. Love it on so many levels!

Take a closer look... each vase is connected with looped grass.

I think this was Moulin Rouge themed. Love the pipe and drape!

Not the greatest picture as I had to use the flash, but I loved how the orchid is threaded through the leaf and then weighted down with a small rock and copper wire.

Wedding Gallery - part one

My last session at the Special Event Show was the Wedding Gallery at the Hard Rock Cafe. The gallery was absolutely stunning, but again, with most displays, it also seems that people have an infinite amount of money to work with!

The cake room was very dark and cameras were not allowed (but everybody kept snapping pictures). Here is a sample of the Cake Gallery.

Table Top Challenge

Each participant had a $1000 budget to show off their skills and design the table top of their dreams. Here are some of the entries from this years' tradeshow floor.

Did you notice the "corn" napkin? How clever!

Marie Antoinette inspired

Jungle themed

This is not a table top entry, but I loved the set up and the colours!

This was a booth display from Chameleon Chair. They have some of the most beautiful rental chairs and covers that I have ever seen!

We bumped into Colin and Jay from Upright Decor as well as Rhonda from Pedersens on the trade show floor. Maybe we will see some fancy new items added to their rental catalogue ? :D The pictures were a little hurried as picture taking was a no no :I

Tomorrow is our last day in San Diego before we fly back to Seattle Friday morning. I have tons of pictures that I will post from the Wedding Gallery that we attended at the Hard Rock Cafe as well as our adventures to Balboa Park and Coronado Beach.

San Diego - Day 3

Our session today starts at 5pm, so we thought we would go and discover what San Diego is all about.

First stop... Little Italy where we enjoyed some coffee and watched some planes go by.

Then back on the trolley and over to Old Town where we enjoyed some Mexican food and a stroll through the Old Historic Park.

I'm not really a plant person as I usually end up killing them, but I am in love with all of the wonderful plants that just grow naturally in San Diego. Here are some pictures that I took today.

Wild Poinsettias?

More birds of paradise.
